Paying-It-Forward With Lotto Tickets Lets Me REWARD Food Store Employees And Get Helped In Return
Thanks for Voting on My "Copywriting Battle Book Part #1"
Dear Friend,
Today I went out food Shopping.
As of Tuesday May 12, 2020 -- We Still have to wear masks in retail stores here in Maryland. Social Distancing is in force too.
So.
When I went up to a Clerk Stocking the shelves.
Handed him a Lotto Ticket.
And said, "A Thank you Reward for Making Sure The Rest of us don't starve."
He Thanked me.
And Then...
A -- Checked the Warehouse for some items I couldn't find.
B -- Found an item on the shelf for me.
C -- Carried a box away -- that was on top of some cans of Peas I wanted.
AND
At the Check-out.
Where Nobody was Talking. And Doom And Gloom was being Practiced.
When I Handed the Cashier A Lotto Ticket.
Said, "A Thank you Reward for all your hard Work During This MESS."
And said, "Hey, I remember you. Did you win anything from the last Lotto ticket I gave you?
Eve Dropped her mask and Grinned at me.
"I WON THREE DOLLARS!"
ME -- "Fantastic. That's what I like to hear."
Eve started chattering away. LIKE NORMAL.
***Eve Didn't drop my bananas.
***She put all my frozen stuff in the same bag.
***She helped me read the Credit Card Machine. (My glasses had Steamed up cuz of the mask.)
***AND She Showed me how to get 100 Points -- on the receipt -- If I called the # and Took a Quiz. So I would get a Gas Discount.
So my Old Boss, Who Tried to Get Me Killed, Changed the way I Communicate with people.
In a Big Golden Rule Way.
(EDITORS NOTE -- If you are Curious about How My Former Boss Tried to get me killed. Read The Series #1 Article.)
Thanks,
Glenn Osborn
